What is your favorite thing about being a counselor?
My favorite thing about being a counselor is getting to walk alongside people as they uncover their true worth and learn to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
I love seeing the transformation that happens when someone embraces healing and grows in emotional and spiritual wholeness. It’s such a privilege to help clear the path for genuine connection—because when relationships thrive with Jesus at the center, life changes in the most beautiful ways.
Can you tell us a little more about the approach at Purposeful Counseling?
Purposeful Counseling (PC) is a relational wellness center devoted to helping individuals and couples build healthy, lasting connections rooted in biblical values and sound mental health principles.
Through a Christ-centered approach, PC offers three core services: Relationship Coaching, Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families, and Education. Each department is designed to support people on their unique relational journey—whether they’re preparing for marriage, healing from emotional wounds, or learning how to thrive in community.
At the heart of PC is the belief that relationships thrive when Jesus is at the center. We equip clients with practical tools and spiritual insight to grow in emotional intimacy, communication, and personal wholeness. From one-on-one therapy to The Pillow Talk Sessions relationship program and wedding officiating services, Purposeful Counseling walks with you—from counseling to ceremony and beyond.
We also have a total of 4 therapists on staff to meet the needs of clients.
Do you provide on-line counseling?
Yes, all services are virtual.
Can you share a little bit about how you incorporate faith into your counseling approach?
Faith is the foundation of everything I do in counseling. I truly believe counseling and Christianity can—and should—coexist together, and that’s exactly how I approach therapy with my clients.
I gently weave biblical truths with mental health strategies to help clients see their value through God’s eyes and find strength beyond themselves. It’s not about pushing religion but about creating a space where spiritual insight and practical tools come together to guide people toward healthier, more purposeful lives.
