Services We Provide:

Individual therapy

We typically spend the first 10/15 minutes check in with the parent, and the remaining session time one-on-one with your child. Many teens and college students bring themselves to session, in which case we can schedule monthly or quarterly consultations with parents if needed.

  • 45 minute session: $205

  • 70 minute session: $307.50

  • 90 minute session: $410

Phone sessions

Some clients need to check in with us in between our weekly appointments. Under 10 minutes is gratis, and more than that it is charged at prorated rate of the session fee. If you need more than the occasional phone check in, we may suggest setting up appointments more regularly than once per week.

Session Length

Most sessions are 45 minutes long on a weekly basis, with a 12 session minimum (read more about why this is the best way to meet goals on our FAQ page!)

During your initial phone consultation, we’ll figure out the best time for our weekly appointments - that way you know your time is protected, and we won't schedule someone else during your session time.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel with at least 48-hours notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. We can offer sessions over the phone or through my HIPAA-compliant video system,, which some insurance companies reimburse. If you don't have access to your computer, we can also have a session over the phone, though insurance companies will not reimburse phonecalls.

Payment is due at the start of every session. We accept cash, check, or credit card payment through our secure online system, Simple Practice.

We’re able to provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company. Typically, insurance companies reimburse you a portion of your expenses from counseling, but different insurance companies reimburse at different rates. It can be frustrating!

You can find more information about what questions to ask your insurance provider right here.

If you are a member of Blue Cross Blue Shield, their instructions for submitting a claim for reimbursement can be found here.
