Anxiety Therapy for Kids and Teens (PLPC)

When you’re dealing with anxiety, overwhelm, or constant self-doubt, it can feel exhausting, and sometimes even confusing, to know where to start. You might look like you’re holding it together on the outside, but inside, your thoughts feel loud, constant, and hard to manage.

That’s where therapy can help.

I work with kids, teens and young adults who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of perfectionism and self-doubt. I also support families who want to better understand what’s really going on beneath the big emotions or behaviors, and how to respond in a way that actually helps.

I became a counselor because I wanted to spend my life helping people realize their potential…and I truly believe that with the right support, meaningful change is possible.

One of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship we build. You deserve to feel comfortable, understood, and never judged. I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself, explore what’s going on, and feel supported as you try new strategies.

I especially enjoy helping clients understand anxiety and how it shows up in both thoughts and the body.

Sometimes anxiety can look like overthinking, avoidance, or even anger. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and practice tools that help you feel more in control in real, everyday moments.

I love those moments in session when something clicks - when a strategy works, when a new perspective lands, or when a kiddo realizes, “I can actually do this.” Those small shifts often lead to big, lasting change.

My approach is collaborative and practical.

I’ll help you and your child or teen build tools you can actually use outside of session, while also taking time to understand the deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I also work closely with parents when appropriate, helping them feel more confident and equipped to support their child.

Whether you’re a teen feeling overwhelmed, a college student navigating stress and transitions, or a parent trying to figure out how to help, you don’t have to do it alone.
