Building skills to get through anger and resistance, together.

Sometimes you look at your kid and wonder: “Why are they doing what they are doing?” “Why won’t they just listen?” “Is this ever going to get better?”

I get it.

I have been fascinated by human behavior my entire life. I love figuring out what makes people tick. So as a therapist, my passion is getting to know your unique situation. More than just understanding what’s happening, I want to work with you to make real change; to help you and your family to have the life, time, and connections you desire.

Bringing my years of experience to our work together:

I have worked with very young children through college-aged students. I know that we need to explore the whole environment to best shape our interventions and approaches for you and/or your child. That’s why I love coordinating our work with your child’s teacher, pediatrician, psychiatrist, and YOU to make sure everyone’s moving forward, together.

The ultimate goal is building rapport and opening communication between you and your child.

I enjoy getting to know people and building rapport, and creating a safe space for people to share honestly.  I am a compassionate person, and I hope that my valuing each person as an individual with their own story and experience clearly shows.
