Parent Coaching, Anxiety Therapy, and Art Therapy in St. Louis, MO

Anxiety has a way of bleeding into every situation. Maybe you notice that small stresses get bigger and bigger until you explode, and everyone wonders where THAT came from. Maybe you see that your child is often in trouble at school, and ready to have a fight, flight, freeze reaction at the drop of a hat. Anxiety keeps us on our toes, all the time - and if we don’t have a way to release it, and explore it, and move past it, we’re always going to be on edge.

When you or your child have an anxiety problem, you need solutions. I’m here to help.

As a trained and certified art therapist, I want you to utilize your own personal creative power to express what words cannot, increase positive self-concept and relate better to others.

I also have experience and training in CBT and talk therapy, and I love to incorporate mindfulness practices, play therapy techniques and more structured cognitive behavioral and skill-building approaches in my practice.  I want to take my experience and training and tailor it to what you need.

Trust is the most important part of therapy

Your trust, or your child’s trust, in me as your therapist allows you to feel safe, open, and accepted. This clinical trust paves the way for you to develop a deeper trust in yourself and in others. I always want to honor this trust, and strive to work collaboratively so that your needs are being met.

If you’re dealing with anxiety and anger management issues, you don’t have to do it alone.

Our amazing therapists at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis are here to help, and I’m happy to be a part of the team. You can schedule a call right on our website to talk more. I look forward to our work together!

Parent Coaching with Erin

In addition to individual therapy for kids, teens, and college students, I LOVE working directly with parents. When you struggle with handling the outbursts your child exhibits, you need a better toolbox - and someone to help you game plan.
