Thank you for scheduling your 15-minute phone consult!

Next steps:

We’ll call you at the number provided during the time you scheduled.

If you don’t hear from us, or you don’t get a confirmation email, please email us directly at hello@compassionatecounselingstl.com.

If we miss you, please make sure to schedule a new appointment.

Because of how our schedule is set up and the number of calls we take in a day, we won’t be able to wait if you miss our time. There’s an easy rescheduling link sent by Calendly!

Reminder: We don’t take insurance, but we can help you get reimbursed.

Review our Out of Network Insurance Guide at the bottom of our Fees and Services Page. Some insurance companies have been really great about paying clients back a portion of their fees, but every company is different.

Questions ahead of the call?

If you have any questions about our approach and policies, including our 12 session minimum or why we require weekly therapy, you can review our FAQ's page (and please feel free to email us ahead of your call!)

What’s coming up?

During our 15-minute call:

We’ll talk about what’s going on and what recommendations we might have. We’re not the best fit for everyone, so even if we decide not to work together, we’ll still provide you with suggestions and referrals for other therapists our helping professionals.

If we are a good fit:

We’ll figure out what open appointments our therapists have that work for your schedule on that weekly basis. In our confirmation email, we’ll let you know what we have available, so that you have a chance to consider what times would be best.

We do need a credit card number to hold any appointment time - but you won’t be charged until that first session.

After scheduling your first appointment…

We’ll send over all of the required consent forms online through our secure platform, Simple Practice. You’ll get an email to the Client Portal, and will get password protected access to all of your forms. For future appointments, we do require 48 hours' notice to avoid the late cancellation fee.
