Now Hiring:
Senior Therapist
Earn up to $100,000 per year as an hourly W2 employee
Now hiring Senior Anxiety Therapists in St. Louis, MO!
You’ve been working as a therapist for a long time now. You’re wondering what else is out there.
Yo'u’ve got a huge caseload, you’re juggling a ton of work, you’ve got experience with supervising staff members and helping design programs… and you’re spending your free time cruising job postings.
You got into therapy to help others, so why are you spending so much time with busy work?
You’ve even considered opening up your own private practice, but that feels like a scary, overwhelming, administrative heavy task that just gets in the way of what you actually love to do: helping people.
Compassionate Counseling St. Louis is hiring a senior therapist to join our team!
We’re looking to hire a well-seasoned, invested, and excited clinician who is ready to support our dedicated anxiety, anger management, and trauma work for kids, teens, and families.
Rather than having you deal with all of the head spinning dynamics that come with starting a business, we want you to be able to focus on a great caseload of wonderful clients, take over some supervisory work, make sure our team of therapists is very well supported, and help direct where we’re going at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis.

Training & Support
You’ll be provided training and ongoing support on conducting anxiety-therapy for kids, teens, and college students and supervising our staff.
Hybrid Set-Up
Some of your hours will be at home, and some will be in our Clayton office.
You’ll have access to a home office stipend, if you need any particular supplies to really make working from home work for you.
Requirements:

-
1.
Fully licensed social worker, counselor, MFT, or psychologist, with Missouri licensure.
-
2.
Extensive experience in child and adolescent therapy.
-
3.
Comfort working with young children through to parents.
-
4.
Past leadership experience.

Pay Scale
Salary range: Earn up to $100,000 per year as a W2 employee!
$50-60/hour base salary rate negotiated based on experience.
Bonus for all clinical hours when you see 11+ clients during the week.
4 paid hours of non-clinical work guaranteed per week, no matter your caseload, at $40/hour.
Examples of non-clinical work include documentation checks, tracking hours for therapists, co-leading monthly supervision meetings, and program design and evaluation.
You must be available for at least 25 hours per week, including two evenings or 1 evening and 1 weekend shift.
Wages listed are an example of earnings potential for a therapist with a minimum of 10 hours of face-to-face client contact per week, and up to 20 clinical hours per week. Earnings and bonus potential increase as your caseload does!
Signing Bonus
In addition to your hourly pay, if you apply directly through us (careers@compassionatecounselingstl.com) you will earn a $500 signing bonus after your first 4 months.
Extra Benefits
Community: A kick-ass team of therapists, building a community and helping you out. Monthly supervision, with access in between meetings to get information, resources, or just run stuff by someone else.
Continuing Ed: $200 ce stipend per quarter (plus free ce’s when we can find and share them!) and ongoing support and supervision from Kelsey on identifying and treating anxiety-driven anger.
Supported Self-Care: Therapists preach self care, but do we follow through on our own? We want you to take care of yourself, which is why we provide a discretionary $200 self care bonus each quarter.
PTO: PTO negotiated based on experience and accrued per pay period.
