Hiring: Intake Coordinator

$16-18+ per hour

Intake Coordinator and Administrative Assistant

You want to make a difference, but you’re not sure how.

You’ve always had an interest in mental health and have always been drawn to helping families, whether you’ve babysat, worked as a front desk receptionist at a clinic, or you’re in graduate school for counseling, social work, or psychology. You have a calm demeanor. And your current jobs just haven’t helped you feel as useful as you want to be.

We’re Compassionate Counseling St. Louis, a group practice full of dedicated therapists who love to work on anxiety and anger management with kids, teens, and college students.

As our intake coordinator, you’re the first contact for kids, teens, and parents who are totally overwhelmed by what is going on. That’s why we’re so invested in finding a calm, competent, and caring intake coordinator who loves learning about mental health and is eager to support the families who come to us, helping them figure out the best next steps that they need to take.

Flexible Schedule

You set your own schedule aside from select hours you’re available for phone consultations with potential clients.

Virtual Work

This position is primarily virtual. You will need to be able to come to the Clayton office around once per month for some limited in office tasks.

Ongoing Training and Support

We have an in depth onboarding and training curriculum, helping you feel totally comfortable and confident in the role. You’ll also have access to a quarterly self-care stipend and CE stipend.

Requirements:

  • 1.

Personable, friendly, caring, and punctual. Clients schedule calls to directly interact with you.

  • 2.

Comfort with virtual interfaces. We'll train you on our systems, but you need to be very computer literate.

  • 3.

Past experience with phones, scheduling, or other detail-oriented work. There can be a lot of moving pieces!

  • 4.

Preferred: Past experience with client care coordination and/or a BA degree in a related field.

Hourly Pay

$16-18 per hour, negotiated based on experience and degree. Expectation to be available 15 hours per week - your schedule may flex depending on the number of phone calls you receive.

Bonus

You will also have access to a $200 quarterly self-care bonus, so that you’re supported in your work as an intake coordinator - and as a human being.
