Appointments, Cost, and Insurance Questions

Session Length

Sessions are 45-50 minutes, and I am available for appointments some evenings. Right before our first session I'll send over my introductory paperwork online. That way we can jump right in on session 1, instead of you having to come early to fill out paperwork.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel with at least 48-hours notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. I also can offer sessions over the phone or through my hipaa-compliant video system,


Individual therapy is $205 per 45/50-minute session, which includes a brief consultation with you as the parent at the beginning of our session time. Initial 15-minute assessment phonecalls are provided at no cost to you. Moving forward, I'm happy to touch base via email or brief phonecalls between sessions, and if we need to talk longer than 15 minutes we'll count it as a partial session and charge accordingly.

Payment is due at the start of every session. I accept cash, check, or credit card payment through my secure online system, Simple Practice. 


I am able to provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company. Typically, insurance companies reimburse you a portion of your expenses from counseling, but different insurance companies reimburse at different rates. It can be frustrating!
